Who we are
This website is operated by Parallels and Meridians, P&M House, Aerocity, New Delhi 110037, India (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described below. For any question about your data, write to contact@parallels-meridians.com.
Many of our clients live in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. We apply the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to everyone who uses this website, wherever they live.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
When you use the contact form or write to us, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the subject and your message, and anything you choose to tell us about your journey (for example dates, travelling companions or preferences). We use this only to answer you and to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Please do not send sensitive information (such as health or passport details) through the form. If a journey requires it, we will ask you for it separately and explain why.
When you book a journey
To arrange your journey we share the necessary details (names, travel dates, preferences and, where required, passport or dietary information) with the hotels, guides, transport companies and other partners who deliver it. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for information needed by authorities, a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to keep the website secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after a short period, normally within 30 days.
Audience measurement, only with your consent
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the website, so that we can improve it. If you click “Refuse”, or make no choice, these tools do not store or read any cookie on your device. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Who receives your data
- Our team in New Delhi, who plan and manage your journey.
- The partners who deliver your journey (hotels, guides, drivers, airlines and similar), only for what they need.
- Our website and email hosting provider, Namecheap, Inc. (United States).
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, for audience measurement, only if you accept it.
We never sell your personal data and never share it for other companies' marketing.
Transfers outside Europe
Because our team is based in India and our hosting provider in the United States, your data is processed outside the European Economic Area. Where no adequacy decision exists, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or on the transfer being necessary to perform the contract you request with us (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR). Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 3 years after our last exchange.
- Booking and invoicing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Website security logs: normally 30 days.
- Analytics data (with consent): up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@parallels-meridians.com; we reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the CNIL in France (www.cnil.fr) or the AEPD in Spain (www.aepd.es).
Security
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to plan and run your journey.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
